Answer: Neither one is very good. Behringer makes crappy gear. They are a German company that literally steals technology from other companies, makes copies out of inferior parts, and sells it for way cheap. You get what you pay for. If you want to support foreign companies that rip off American companies like Gibson, Fender, Ampeg and Mackie then more power to you. (What should I expect from a Walmart shopper though?) I'm sure the guitar and amp will do enough to get a beginner by.

If it were me, I would get the second one down. The Les Paul will stay in tune better (the bridge on the Fender Squire is not that great - if you use the tremelo it goes out of tune) and the amp should be loud enough to play with a drummer (if you're lucky enough to find one to play with). You could always look on ebay too.
